FAQs
Personal care refers to the various tasks that people must do to maintain their hygiene and bodily health. This includes activities like brushing teeth, washing hands and face, using the restroom, and changing clothes. Proper personal care helps reduce the spread of germs and infections, and it can also boost self-esteem and confidence. Some of the tasks that fall under personal care include:
- Hygiene – washing, showering etc.
- Brushing your teeth
- Putting on makeup
- Dressing yourself
- Doing your hair
- Taking care of your nails
- Going to the bathroom
- Medication scheduling
Sometimes, we need a little extra support with our personal care tasks which is why having a Support Worker provide assistance when it’s needed can be a tremendous relief. You should never be embarrassed to ask for help with your personal care. Our Support Workers have been trained in not only how to provide the care you need but also how to navigate any tasks with patience and sensitivity. We love what we do so never be afraid to ask for help!
Domestic Assistance is assistance with household tasks. This can include things like cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and transportation. It is important to have someone you trust to help you with these tasks, as they can be difficult to do on your own. Domestic assistance can make your life easier and help you stay independent. It’s important to ask for help with domestic assistance because your home is a space you need to feel comfortable living in. It’s a space you take pride in where you can have those most important to you come and visit.
